Pencil Sketches

This is a group of sketches from 2004. These were done to rough out some quick ideas for characters, and then filed away for future use.

The sketches that are done on loose paper are filed away in three ring binders. I also sketch in my sketchbook, although currently I'm only using one for nature sketches and quick sketches of everyday objects around the house.

Creepy Tree Sketch

Here's something recent, done in charcoal pencil. I may turn this into a painting, probably in acrylics.

Dragon Sketch

This is a sketch I painted today (with Photoshop). I used a single custom texture brush for the entire sketch, and just varied the size and opacity where needed.
